Childcare Home Leader

Dennis Mukasa Baziwe

Founder of Baziwe Cares Inc and Baziwe Foundation

“I saw children whose abilities were misunderstood or overlooked, and parents navigating complex systems with little guidance, often carrying fear, exhaustion, and hope all at once.”

The President of Baziwe Cares Inc. brings a diverse professional background spanning accounting (CAT, ACCA), sales, marketing, and transport and logistics. This multidisciplinary experience has provided a strong foundation in financial stewardship, strategic planning, operations, and organizational leadership. However, it was upon entering the field of autism and other intellectual and developmental disabilities that his professional journey found its true purpose. What began as a career transition became a calling - one that felt like arriving home.

Dennis has over ten years of professional experience in the autism and intellectual and developmental disabilities sector, he has worked closely with children, families, practitioners, and community stakeholders to strengthen access to services, advocacy, and support systems. His leadership is informed by both technical expertise and deep compassion, allowing him to bridge sound governance with mission-driven impact. This combination of professional rigor and heartfelt commitment continues to guide Baziwe Cares Inc. in advancing inclusive, accountable, and sustainable programs for children and families across diverse communities.

Leadership Philosophy

My leadership philosophy is rooted in service, accountability, and compassion. I believe effective leadership begins with listening - to children, families, practitioners, and communities - and translating their lived experiences into thoughtful, evidence-based action. I lead with the conviction that strong governance and financial integrity are not separate from impact, but essential to it.
